Frequently asked questions
How much wastage for tiling?
10% for straight layouts in regular rooms; 15% for diagonal patterns, lots of alcoves, or large-format tiles where one miscut costs a whole tile.
How many 60 x 30 tiles per square metre?
5.56 tiles per m2 (each is 0.18 m2). A 12 m2 floor with 10% wastage needs 74 tiles.
